Your backstage pass to SF's top tech & startup events this week

In partnership with

Hey SF Social Club, Happy Sunday!

I’ve curated a list of over a dozen fantastic events happening in San Francisco this week.

SF Social Club is brought to you by Matt Taksa (Cofounder & CEO at Nextdev Labs). Since late 2022, I’ve hosted over 100 tech events in San Francisco and built a community of 10,000+ people along the way. Why? Because I’ve seen firsthand that the city feels most alive when founders, engineers, and dreamers come together in person.

Your prompts are leaving out 80% of what you're thinking.

When you type a prompt, you summarize. When you speak one, you explain. Wispr Flow captures your full reasoning — constraints, edge cases, examples, tone — and turns it into clean, structured text you paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI tool. The difference shows up immediately. More context in, fewer follow-ups out.

89% of messages sent with zero edits. Used by teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay. Try Wispr Flow free — works on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.

Jun 10th, 2026 - The Verification Summit

Time: 4pm - 9pm

Hosted by Pramaana Labs in San Francisco

AI has crossed a threshold where its outputs influence decisions in law, science, software, finance, and policy. But the foundation underneath is still probabilistic — a model that's right most of the time, with no way to know which time is which. Verification is how that changes.

Hosted by Sierra AI in San Francisco

AI is changing the skills required to build great products. It's not about tokenmaxxing coding agents — it's about reorienting the work toward outcomes that matter. The best operators, regardless of title, can understand customer feedback, build a solution, and ensure it's adopted at scale.

The AI companies pulling ahead aren’t just building faster. They’re making smarter decisions about how to charge, package, and grow.

Hosted by Agent Community in San Francisco

The 30 best builders of the bay take to the water to hack and present your demos. First place gets $50K credits and a DGX Spark.
